All of those things should benefit the games that Bethesda and XGS create going forward. Maybe this benefit doesn't end up being massive, but Bethesda being able to have less financial pressure, more creative independence (every game doesn't need to be a bestseller), and collaboration with some good studios (XGS), as well as XGS getting to collaborate with the Bethesda studios (and being able to use their tech). If Arkane or Tango ended up shutting down because their games weren't selling super well, that wouldn't be bad for the industry? Sony's abuse of timed exclusive deals (yes Microsoft does some too but not nearly as much, and the ones they do are equally as dumb too) is just a net negative to the industry because it's sole purpose is to hurt gamers on other platforms, it doesn't benefit their own platform at all.
